The Digital System 3500 Explained...

This system takes advantage of the ability of a digital press to produce pages in collated sequence. It can receive one or two stacks of sheets, then by picking each sheet in turn, separate and combine them into documents. Duplo's fully automatic, mid-range DBM-350 Bookletmaker fits between the established high-end counterpart DBM-500 and entry level DBM-120 sheet x sheet version bookletmaker to provide a new solution for meeting the needs of a busy digital print environment conscious of budget expenditure, but needing to produce a broad range of quality material. Typical production is a wide variety of booklet sizes of A4, A5, A6, A5 landscape and custom sizes up to 20 sheets.
